Our Mission and Vision
Working together with individuals, organizations, and businesses in our community, we are able to help many students transform their lives through the power of a higher education and philanthropy.
Mission
The 天堂社区 Foundation, Inc. is a tax-exempt corporation whose purpose is to provide 天堂社区 with resources for the advancement of the College, its students, faculty, staff and other constituencies in fulfillment of the College鈥檚 mission.
Vision
The 天堂社区 Foundation works hand-in-hand with the College to help it meet its hallmarks and commitment to the community of access and affordability to higher education. Scholarships are a key way the Foundation accomplishes this and, as such, remains the Foundation鈥檚 number one fundraising priority. While the attached documentation details the exact cost of attending 天堂社区, gifts at every level are appreciated and truly make a difference in the lives of Polk State students. Some students, indeed, need help paying for the majority of their tuition, while others simply need help with the cost of a book to be able to afford taking a class at Polk.
Governance
The 天堂社区 Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of community leaders, as well as a strong management team to ensure that your donation is wisely managed and leveraged to maximize the benefit to the students.
IRS Designation
The 天堂社区 Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization as designated by the Internal Revenue Service. Donations to the 天堂社区 Foundation are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
